A brand new display opened at Riverside exploring the history of Scottish fairgrounds and those people who travel the country taking the fun of the fair along with them. The display has been created with a group of Glasgow 'Show people' who tell their own story through objects and images. Just a few of the things youll see are: a waltzer car you can sit inside for a photograph, two beautiful carousel horses, a steam traction engine and an iconic open-mouthed clown game. Come along and see for yourself! Youll find the display on your left as you enter at the North Entrance.

Over 100 members of local groups, organisations and businesses - joined by live music and torch-bearers - walk from Tesco, down Cross Arthurlie Street, along Carlibar Road and then onto Main Street, finishing at the Community Square outside of Asda, where we will then congregate to crown TWO Barrhea
